Education of a Teacher

At the end of this teaching life all I will have is what I’ve left behind of me.

I have my beliefs and my values on what I believe is essential in education.  And none of it is based on blind faith, adherence to dogma, or the belief of those in power know better than those who live it every day. Rather, it is based on the belief that I do not really know what is right or wrong, true or false, absolute or yielding. It is the belief that I am continuously seeking, not for the perfect or even right answer, but for an imperfect solution in order to move forward to challenges we face today and tomorrow. It is in the belief  the only question I have an absolute answer for is that imperfect solutions will only yield more questions. And that I value.

This is the education of a teacher.
